I think about 10% of brides who wear white wedding dresses are actually virgins. I have a feeling my estimate may be a bit high.
@Joshua, I understand that if you're thinking of every wedding in the world. I'm talking about weddings where it's traditional for the bride to wear a white wedding dress to symbolize purity and virginity.

Actually, if you are a fairly slim hourglass shape, almost any basic style will look good on you--A-line, dropped waist, mermaid, ball gown. It's all in the details. You really need to try them on to get an idea of what you like. Try picking out some pictures of different styles and trying them on in the stores to get an idea of what you like.

What is the difference between prom dresses and wedding dresses?

I can't tell what the difference between them except for the color. Is there like some style difference? Cause i can't see any style differences. Please someone tell me because it's been bugging me.

For starters, wedding dresses are worn to weddings, and are generally more expensive, fancier, nicer, and white or creme. Prom dresses are not as expensive, worn to proms, and based more towards teens, so they are usually in brighter colors and come in sexier styles.

How many wedding dresses are too many to try on?

I need to go wedding dress shopping and i have a list of about 20 that i like. I dont want to go into the store with this list and have the ladies hate me. So ladies, now many did you try on? How many is too many?

Too many would be 60 and up, but even then its your wedding and you should find a dress that makes you happy in every which way. I think the best thing to do is look at all the dresses and find a common thing about them.. for example if they are all strapless with a mermaid silouette. That will help out a ton. I honestly don't think that they will get angry considering you will pay for the dress if you find it and it's their job. And who knows maybe the 4th dress you try on will be the winner. Oh and for my sister in laws wedding we went dress shopping for 2 days for her to find the dress. So thats nothing compared to 20. Good luck... and congrats!!
