A. I think she means she is getting married, and she was all dressed in her gown, but her fiance was in in the military and he died. Instead of wedding bells playing it was the military trumpets playing a funeral march. it is sad to think that those type of things can really happen

A. I think it's a beautiful, and heartbreaking, song. The video of it is even more powerful. I can easily say that the two best parts of the video were when she began to sob mid-line, and when her wedding dress turned into her funeral clothes. I can really relate to the feelings that she portrays in the song, knowing or experiencing something so awful that all you can do to cope, at times, it cover your ears and pretend it's all just a terrible dream.
