What is a good dress for a 1950s themed wedding?
Q. My friend is getting married and having a '50s themed wedding. She wants to wear a dress that she can wear with a birdcage veil and pearls. She'd love to wear a dress like this:

However, she's worried it won't go with the theme of the wedding. Any suggestions?

A. To me, that dress could be a 50's ball gown :) add some gloves and accessories and it will be perfect :)
where can i buy discount wedding dress with good quality?
Q. next month i will have a wedding, and now i am preparing for it.i want to save money on it,so i decided to buy a discount wedding dress, but my fiance don't agree with me.he stick to buy the wedding dress at the real shop, because it has good quality, but it's so expensive.so where can i buy a discount wedding dress with good quality?
A. Please don't listen to any of the answerers that has just googled "cheap wedding dresses" which it looks like most have here. There is a very common scam in the wedding industry and that is hundreds of websites that use photos from top dress designers and claim to sell them at half the price or more. All that happens is a Chinese factory knock up a copy in a couple of weeks. Some people have done this and been pleased enough with the results but it depends on how high your expectations are. You should expect cheap rough material, bad structure and shape and potentially poor workmanship. You pay for all of those things to be the best they can be. There are no quality guarantees, no RBA (Retail Bridalwear Association) to guarantee the dress even if the company goes bust, no chance to alter the dress and no refunds if you hate it.
I would recommend going to normal bridal shops, write done a selection of dresses you like (you'll need the designer and name or number) then look online for a second hand one. Second hand in wedding dresses is nothing like second hand in any other sector. It means it was worn once for 4 or 5 hours then dry cleaned and put away. There are thousands and thousands of 2nd hand dresses out there and it's the norm for them to be sold for half the price. You can travel to view and try on the dress, you know that the dress exists and will be on time. I'm in the UK so can't suggest any sites but google "sell my wedding dress" or "preowned wedding dresses" and go with the top websites.
The other option is to call your bridal shops and ask them when their next season stock will be in. The previous season dresses will be heavily discounted but there are no guarantees that the dress will be anywhere near your size.

Can anyone name the top 5 best couture wedding dress designers?
Q. If you can't think of many Couture designers you can always go traditional.
And this is you're own opinion
