Q. I bought my wedding dress from China and there are no dry cleaning instructions attached to the dress! The cleaners are not sure how to clean the dress! It is made of Satin and is very plain. No beads! Does anyone have instructions on how to clean this dress!
A. Take it to your dry cleaner. They will know what to do with it. They clean all wedding gowns regardless of their fabric or detail and offer proper storage for them as well. If your present cleaners can't figure it out, take it to another.
Where to get my wedding dress cleaned?
Q. So, I have my grandmother's wedding dress (roughly 60 years old) and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get it cleaned and sealed to preserve it. There is no budget, I am willing to pay, and I want it to be a professional, nice place. Boston/New York are the best locations. Leave me the link to your question so I can answer yours! Thanks so much!
A. I used Madame Paulette's (in NYC) to have my wedding dress cleaned. They did a nice job, although they didn't seal & preserve it (they gave it to me in a large box which isn't airtight). They can probably do that for you, if you request it.

A. Call a dry cleaner and ask. They'll probably want to know what kind of fabric it is, and what color of shoe polish.
How do I clean my wedding dress?
Q. I want to clean my wedding dress. The tag on the dress says professional dry clean. I went to the cleaners but they won't clean it. I want to know how do I clean my wedding dress myself?
A. Go to a bridal salon or a David's Bridal. They will be happy to sell you the kit to have your dress cleaned, de-sugared,and preserved.
The price you pay at the store includes the postage paid box in which the dress is shipped, the cleaning, and return postage. Your dress will be sealed in a box with a clear window in it. It will be on a cardboard bust form that helps it keep its shape.

where to have wedding dress cleaned in san diego?
Q. I am nervous to have my dress cleaned, does anyone know of a great place? I live in east county but will go anywhere in san diego.
A. According to the Maggie Sottero website, they recommend visiting http://www.gown.com or calling 1-800-WED-GOWN. I haven't tried it yet myself, but MS is quite reputable and I trust they know more about the dress cleaning than I do.
